Dan Scott Style Returns and Exchanges Policy
Where a purchase is made from Dan Scott and is deemed as:
- Faulty, or
- Not suitable for the purpose for which it was stated to be used; or
- as otherwise stated by Law;
then please contact us via email at email@example.com with details on your item and photos showing what you believe to be the fault so we can analyse the item prior to it being returned. Once deemed faulty we will provide you with a method of return shipping. On return of the relevant item to Dan Scott along with your receipt as proof of purchase, Dan Scott will provide a refund, replace or repair the item as appropriate.

Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery and if you receive damaged or defective merchandise, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will be happy to arrange a return or exchange for you.
Upon receiving the item, when deemed faulty we will send you a replacement where possible. If that particular item is sold out and cannot be replaced, a full refund will be issued on the original purchase price.
Alternatively, you may choose to exchange the item for another product. This can be down 2 ways:
- In- store
If the item is returned in store the customer may choose to exchange the item or have a credit issued to redeem at a later date.
If the item is returned via post a credit coupon will be issued for our online store that can also be used to exchange the item – any difference in price to either be credited or charged accordingly. Refunds will only be made to the original purchaser and the original payment type.
Once a returned item is received in our warehouse, the return or exchange will be processed immediately. For credit card orders, you can expect to see your refund credit within 72 hours.
Dan Scott is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured.
We only use your information to identify your orders, provide you with our newsletter (if you have subscribed) and personalise your shopping experience with us.
We do NOT pass on any of your personal details.

If a product you have ordered is out of stock or on backorder we will contact you as soon possible to advise on the estimated shipping date
and you can decide to either keep the order as is, cancel the item or cancel the entire order.
Although we take great pride in the care we take with packing all of our orders, sometimes, accidents or errors happen. Notification of damaged, incorrect or missing products must be received within 48 hours of your parcel being signed for.
To order from Dan Scott is easy, you can purchase via our website (using Visa, Mastercard via PayPal) where you will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed, or you may choose to place an order over the phone or via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), Instagram or Facebook through the messaging options (payment for these can be made by Amex, Visa, Mastercard over the phone or direct deposit).
Products paid for by direct deposit will be posted once we have confirmation of payment.
Orders placed over $150 will receive free postage. This does not apply to large bulky heavier items like prints, furniture and lighting.
We ship Australia wide for a flat rate of $12.95 (excluding oversized orders) to all Australian addresses for online orders.
Some over-sized items require an additional shipping charge due to excess weight or special packaging requirements. If there is an additional shipping charge for an item, it will be noted on the product page.
In the case of out-of-stock products, customers will be emailed with an estimated shipping date (refer ORDERS information for further details).
To ensure you receive your goods without delay, please ensure that you enter the correct delivery address. We only deliver to addresses within Australia.
Your parcel will be delivered by Australia Post or courier within Australia during normal business hours.
Delivery times may vary depending on your location, so please allow for approximately 3 extra days to regional areas. Please allow for 3 to 7 business days from dispatch for delivery in metropolitan areas.
Please note our courier of choice may not require a signature upon delivery. If the delivery address is unattended, the parcel may be left in a location deemed safe by the driver. If no such location can be found, re-delivery will be arranged. Your parcel may be taken to your local Post Office for collection.
For an item that is being returned to us please pack safely for the return transport as Dan Scott is NOT responsible for items damaged in transit when being returned to us and clearly mark as follows:

Exchange items will incur a $10 shipping fee for Australian deliveries.
Change Of Mind
We will happily exchange or refund full price fashion items if they are not suitable or we do not have the size you require.
Refunds will not be given for fashion items that are on sale.
For all other products, if you simply change your mind about a purchase, then you will not be entitled to a refund of any kind.
